With these words in mind, Taryn Leach decided to turn her passion into her career and has never "worked" a day since.
Taryn prepared for her career as an entrepreneur by designing an interdisciplinary bachelor's degree at the University of Arizona that included courses in both business and design. After graduating with honors, Taryn accepted a position in fashion merchandising and design, learning business and brand development/planning, product design, international vendor management, and team management over her several years in the fashion industry. In her free time, Taryn held tightly to her creative passion by designing wedding invitations and event decor for friends' weddings and social events. As her interest grew, Taryn was commissioned to throw several corporate and entertainment events, including the Governors Ball for the Emmy Awards in 2008, where she worked on the event production team.
Shortly thereafter, Taryn excitedly launched Taryn Leach Events and has never looked back!

Derek Stuart is our in-house craftsman, bringing life to even the most creative event design ideas. Whether a custom furniture piece to display your escort cards, or an inspiring backdrop for your scenic ceremony, Derek can build it all. After graduating from UCSB, Derek began his career working for a sustainable Design/Build firm, South Bay Green and later launched his own custom furniture company, Stuart Collective.

Brittany DaSilva, aka "Sweet Buey" is our fabulous Assistant Creative and Logistics Coordinator. Her charming personality and attention to detail put everyone at ease on their big day, allowing the client to relax and have a great time. Her creativity and inspiring eye for event styling and trends make her a perfect assistant and crucial member of the Taryn Leach Events Family.

Shannon Leopold is one of our oldest and dearest assistants, being with us from the very beginning. Hailing from the fashion industry, Shannon was a natural match in this fast-paced industry with her extensive background in project management. Shannon is quick-thinking, intuitive, and cool under pressure... two imperative qualities for an Assistant Coordinator in the events industry.

A recent addition to the Taryn Leach Events Team is Blake Stuart. Blake joined the team as a Production Coordinator after realizing his passion for event production in his day job as a coordinator for Dreamworks Animation. Blake's unique professional experience in entertainment production brings a fresh perspective to the company.
